Finally members of N.Flying was open-aperture about the potato's lightstick. When asked where the lightstick idea came from, they answered that the idea was indeed from all members. They also told me that they originally wanted to use a potato tornado (a Korean snack from potatoes) rather than a real potato.
"At first we actually wanted to use a tornado potato," said Yoo Hoe Seung. "But after discussions with the agency, we decided to use real potatoes."
They also continue that they themselves are buying potatoes to share with fans. Even they also wash and decorate it themselves.
"We bought about three boxes of potatoes each week to make potato sticks," Hoe Seung continued, "We ourselves wash them, clean them, draw them and give them to fans."
N.Flying does not have an official lightstick until now. But they still show hard work to improve the quality of music in every comeback.
